How It Works:

We recognize that showing up to an event with a bunch of strangers can be intimidating! We will do our best to create a comfortable, casual, sophisticated environment that will set you at ease. We will have hosts welcoming you as you arrive, answering any questions you may have.

Most of our speed dating events will be held at Coati Uprise, a trendy food hall and event space in downtown Colorado Springs, just steps away from many other upscale bars and restaurants. Coati is open from 11am-10pm on Wednesdays, so you are welcome to show up early and grab some dinner or a drink beforehand if you wish. Keep in mind that this is a downtown venue with no parking lot, so plan accordingly for downtown parking. If you are on your way to another one of our unique venues, check ahead of time for parking and other instructions.

The doors to the Meso Bar area (which is UPSTAIRS) will open at 7pm. You will have the opportunity to pre-mingle with the attendees for approximately 30 minutes. At 7:30, we will begin the structured speed dating agenda. You will be given a Matchcard before you begin on which you will be able to evaluate each person you chat with. "Dating" will begin and the timer will be set for 6-7 minutes. We will have sample questions for you to use, but the best chance of success would be for you to plan ahead and come up with your own stellar questions, personally designed to attract a mate.

After 6-7 minutes, a bell will sound that will signal you to wrap up your conversation. Depending on numbers, the guys may move along and the ladies will stay put. You can jot down your thoughts on your Matchcard at that time, or wait until the end of the evening to decide how to score each "date."

Each event will last until just after 9pm. That will allow you to talk with up to 15 friends. Depending on how many people show up, the timing and rotations may be adjusted to accommodate the numbers of men and women.

At the conclusion of the evening, you will finalize your Matchcard with a rating of 'YES!' "no." or "Lets start as friends" for each person you meet. The host will collect the cards and will sort through to find out if you mutually rated another person with a "YES!" or a "Let's start as friends". If so, you both will receive an email within 24 hours entitled, "You Matched!". It will then be up to you and your match to connect and plan your next steps.
