Yes! We will definitely have a waitlist in the case of cancellations. If the event is showing as FULL, please send us an email to backtothebasicscos@gmail.com and we will add you to our waitlist. You will receive an email and a text if a spot opens.

Yes. Our refund policy is as follows: If you cancel 48 hours before the event, you will get a full refund. If you cancel less than 48 hours before the event, you will receive 50% of your ticket price refunded. Please understand, we aim to make sure we have equal numbers of men and women, so last minute cancellations are not ideal. Please email backtothebasicscos@gmail.com to receive your refund.

Yes! We would love it if you could do that instead of cancelling. Please email backtothebasicscos@gmail.com with your desire to cancel your attendance, and provide the full name, phone number, email and birthdate (or at least year) of the person taking your place. We request that you do so at least 12 hours before the event, if possible.

There is metered parking around the downtown area near the venue. Arrive in enough time to find the best spot and expect to pay a couple of dollars.

We will not tolerate any abusive, nasty, or otherwise less than lovely behavior. If we experience anyone of this type, they will be kindly but firmly asked to leave, and will not be allowed at any future events.

Coati Uprise has several restaurants and bars from which you can purchase refreshments before the event. Once the structured event begins at 7:30, there will be a quick intermission at 8:15 to grab a quick drink if you wish.

This is a casual event, so wear whatever you feel great in.

If you prefer to date the older, or younger decade, you are totally free to do so. We kindly ask that you stay within a few years of that decade, though, so we are not having 50 year old men showing up to the 20's event. Thanks for understanding. We will use our discretion in screening for this possibility.
