1. General Refund Policy

We understand that sometimes plans change. If you need to cancel your registration for a speed dating event, we offer the following refund options:

Full Refund: Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the event will receive a 100% refund of the ticket price.
Partial Refund: Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event are eligible for a 50% refund.
No Refunds: No-shows are not eligible for a refund.

2. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please email us at backtothebasicscos@gmail.com with the following details:

Full name
Event date and time
Email used to purchase the ticket
Reason for cancellation (optional)

We process refunds within 5–7 business days of receiving your request. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used during checkout.

3. Event Cancellations or Rescheduling

If we cancel or reschedule an event for any reason (e.g. weather, low registration, venue conflict), you will be offered:

A full refund
OR
The option to transfer your ticket to a future event of your choice

We will notify you via the email you provided at registration.

4. Ticket Transfers

If you can no longer attend an event but want to give your ticket to a friend or family member in the same age group, you may do so. Just email us with the name, phone number, email, and birthdate (at least the year) of the person attending in your place at least 12 hours before the event.
